Why do I get charged a de-matt fee?

When dogs are matted it becomes much more of a more tricky job and not as simple to remove the hair, To remove matting adds a lot of additional time to the groom and also has a massive impact on our equipment. Dogs usually struggle emotionally, and also it can be uncomfortable for removal. We do our best to make them comfortable and supported. The important thing is that we can get your pet back to feeling good. When removing matting, a shorter length is generally required as the majority of the time, there isn’t much moving room with how close the mats are to the skin. Every dog is different dependent on their coat type, personality type, it all determines the outcome. It is required that after removal, your pet will need to be on a 4-8weeks schedule.

How long will my dog be there? Pricing for sessions? Dogs that are referred to requiring more support will require more time and care as an energy practitioner, this is a unique opportunity not usually available at a dog grooming salon as groomers are not required to work with behavioral issues. There will be a standard grooming price as usual and add on depending on what your pooch requires, generally $30 for a stretched appointment.
